Awareness of hoarding disorder is increasing due to greater understanding of the issue and the impact this has on landlords and compliance.
Hoarding is one of the least understood mental health conditions and it manifests in ways which can be relatively benign or very problematic, depending on what is being hoarded and where the individual is living.
This course will equip you with knowledge and understanding of the condition and you’ll learn what management tools are available.
This training is perfect for maintenance inspectors, housing management workers, sheltered scheme managers, and anyone who works with tenants whose hoarding might cause a problem for the landlord.
Upkeep’s courses start at 9.30am. There are morning and afternoon breaks as well as a lunch break provided. The courses usually finish around 3pm (or 4pm for some longer courses).
